How we verify
Every fact on this site that can change — prices, hours, dress codes, non-guest policies — is checked against a single type of source: the venue's own official website or PDF, or a phone/email confirmation directly with the venue. Forums, review sites and other aggregators are useful for spotting something that might be outdated, but we never use them as the source itself.
Each fact is stored with its source URL, how it was checked, who checked it, and the date — that's what the small "Verified on" date next to a fact means. If we don't have a confirmed source for something, the page says so directly ("not confirmed") instead of estimating or guessing.
Facts don't stay verified forever. We re-check prices and opening hours quarterly, seasonal offers every season, and dress codes and non-guest access policies once a year. When a fact passes its re-verification window, it's automatically marked outdated and hidden from filters and comparisons until it's checked again.
This process — and the disclaimer that this site is independent and not affiliated with any hotel listed — is the same for every property and venue on the site, regardless of how well-known the hotel is.
